Beckett Horowitz has worked in development, production and outreach for documentaries and non-fiction television shows. She has created and implemented outreach and audience engagement campaigns for many award winning environmental, health, disability, and social justice related documentaries. Her film and television credits include PBS’s “Curious,” Sundance’s “Big Ideas for a Small Planet,” National Geographic’s “WASTED,” The Food Network’s “Chopped,” “Garbage Dreams,” and “Semper Fi: Always Faithful.” “Praying with Lior”, “Monica & David”, and “A Whole Lott More” all centered on themes about inclusion of people with disabilities within society.
Beckett has a B.A. in Environmental Science from Brandeis University and is currently pursuing an M.S. in Environment and Resources at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
